Led Zepplin comes to mind......out I go to South Back
The Throne in the near ground with the King in the back...the clouds burned off as I got closer to the summit.
A mist floats past the King...more Led Zepplin lyrics fly into my head
Halfway there and the clouds break up
Who you calling a dirty ski bum?!
Checkin' out the terrain while the B-Boys pump through the headphones.
No traffic jams up here this morning
Still misty over Three Way
Here's Brain Damage....Haven't done this one yet and the snow looks good today.
And the sun shines on....
I didn't know what following the mostly snowed over track along the ridge I found after descending Brain Damage would lead to.....
Nice drop with a great landing.....and hardly any tracks.
What is a backcountry trip with out a little sliding snow....funny that the only thing that let loose was this 6" soft slab about 100 feet from Queens run. You can see the crown line at the top of the roller center of the frame.
After lessons there's enough time for another walk into the park. Scenic views of the way out back.
Looks fun but too short...another day perhaps
I need a day off so I can go out there
Afternoon rush hour traffic....
back side of the Throne has been seshed pretty heavily
The clouds are rolling in again this afternoon...hopefully bringing more snow
ANd that would be where I work, way down there at the bottom of the mountain.
Professional photographers make pictures look so good. Thanks to the random photog I met at the summit for taking this and making me look better than you all know I really do!
And for the second course today we'll be riding Hour Glass
Yummy... that was good!
Hmmm....looks like most people forgot about this line in the trees coming out of Avalanche Basin
Oh well, I'll make it all good and tracked up!
Snowboarding makes me smile.
All in all a nice little run.
